Kate Rapp earned her BA in English Textual Studies and English Education from Syracuse University and her MEd in Special Education from Boston College. She teaches 9th, 10th, and 12th grade English at Amherst Central High School. Kate also serves as the ELA Curriculum Coordinator for grades 7-12. She is passionate about young adult literature and using modern titles to connect with and represent the diverse student community that she feels so fortunate to teach. Kate is also a proud mother of three boys and enjoys spending most of her free time at hockey rinks and baseball diamonds.
