William O’Neil-White, New and early Career Teacher. William O’Neil-White is currently an English teacher at Frederick Law Olmsted 156 where he teaches 10th and 12th grade. William earned his BS and MSED from Buffalo State, where he served as the English Education Graduate Assistant and conducted research on inquiry-based learning in urban schools. He is also in his 3rd year of doctoral studies at the University at Buffalo in the Curriculum, Instruction, and the Science of Learning program. He hopes to bring more culturally sustaining pedagogy to classrooms in the Buffalo area. William also teaches at Buffalo Prep as an English teacher for 5th and 6th graders. He is a current WNYNET member and is committed to becoming the best educator he can be.
